The Problem with Political Boxes
I used to feel like I was the most left-win of the leftists.
As I have grown in my understanding of these groupings: Democratic, Republican, Libertarian, liberal, conservative, and moderate; I have come to realize how hard it is to try to fit into just one of these boxes.

The Universe Is Out To Destroy Me
I don’t own a tv. I don’t have time to watch tv at this juncture. Somehow, I spend all of my time watching tv.
I resolved in December that I will NOT devote as much time to tv this semester.
The universe has conspired to undermine me.

A Step Toward Equality
So, the 111th Congress ended on a much better note than it went into the midterms on.
That was not a very lame lame duck session. So many important things were accomplished. The New START Treaty was ratified by the US Senate. The Congress also passed legislation to improve the work of the FDA, and improve food safety in the US.
And the focus of this post, the Congress passed the long-overdue...
